Born in Maryland, raised in Pennsylvania, I moved to Texas to attend graduate school, then spent six years in Wisconsin and returned to Texas as quickly as I could. Wide open spaces, plenty of blue skies and the swagger of the Texas spirit makes it the perfect place to call home.

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biblical Studies (1984) at Summit University of Pennsylvania and later a Master of Theology degree (1989) from Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas. In 1996,  I became the founding pastor of Cibolo Creek Community Church of Fair Oaks Ranch, TX where I have served as the Senior Pastor since the church's inception.

I enjoy swimming, biking and running to stay healthy, fly fishing and photography to relax.  When I get the chance I also love to ski and snowboard. Several years ago I established the Paul Wilson Studio, where I create clay sculptures that are produced as bronze artwork for sale.

My wife, Charlotte,  and I have two sons and make our home in Fair Oaks Ranch, TX.
